How does SaleDrop check a sneakers deal?

We record what each item sells for, day after day. A discount only counts as real when the price it is measured against is a price the item genuinely held. The full method is on our how-we-verify page, and every deal page shows the recorded history so you can check us.

Q: Are the sneakers discounts at South African shops real?

Sometimes. Of the 39 sneakers deals live now, we have enough price history to judge 20, and 6 of those give a real saving of 20% or more against the price the item actually holds. The rest lean on a was-price the item has not held while we watched. The green pills mark the ones that survive the check.

Every one of these 39 sneakers deals carries a 50%-plus badge at Superbalist, Archive and Sneaker Factory. We have watched the price of 20 of them long enough to judge the badge, and 6 give a real saving of 20% or more against the price the item actually holds. 3 prices have dropped in the last week; the cards say which and when.
